This just brought back so many memories of my childhood and playing with my Fisher Price basketball net.I didn't dream of being in the NBA. In my fantasies, I already WAS in the NBA.I hope that one of them can fare better than I did when it came time to graduate to a regulation-sized hoop.
ha! I love it! You already WERE in the NBA. :) I did not dream like that. I had the garden-variety ballerina dreams, like every 5-yr-old. When my dreams got really interesting is when I started taking (the dreaded) piano lessons. For you, dear Youngman Brown, I dragged out the blog I wrote about it. You will laugh: http://mothersofbrothersblog.blogspot.com/2010/11/193-childhood-dreams.html
They've got the style!
they get it from their Pop. What they get from me is their excessive love of Girl Scout cookies.
My husband is 6'7" and I am almost 6'...so therefore we are constantly (only to each other, not in front of him) joking about our future retirement plans off our 4 year old's obvious NBA career. That being said, he is already in like the 125th percentile for height and is pretty athletic, so you never know! ;-)He's on track to be pushing 7'...(he wants to play for the Jayhawks someday!)
you only confide this to your husband? are you crazy? it is time to say these dreams OUT LOUD and in front of your kid! It needs to be a near-constant and subliminal message so your 4-yr-old will have NO DOUBT about his imminent future!!! :)
Go Team MOV!!!
oooh, I like the sound of that! haley, t-shirt? how much do I owe you for this design?
When you write a comment, it makes me feel like I won the lottery or at the very least like I ate an ice-cream sundae. (This has nothing to do with the fact that I did just eat an ice-cream sundae.)
